Lucasfilm and Disney have released the new poster for the highly-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, confirming recent rumours that a poster was coming and a trailer would follow the day after. The trailer will air during Monday Night Football on ESPN.
A lot of characters and ships are included on the poster, including several we’ve had a number of looks at already. However, the poster does give the first (real) glimpses at Lupita Nyong’o’s character Maz Kanata and Starkiller Base. We also see Leia Organa featured on a The Force Awakens poster for the first time.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18th.
