Rumour- Taron Egerton and Alden Ehrenreich in Consideration for Young Han Solo Role in 2018 Anthology Film

Last month a shortlist of actors in the running to play the young Han Solo in his own anthology film was released online. A new rumour suggests that two further actors are in consideration for the lead role.

Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle) and Alden Ehrenreich (Beautiful Creatures, Hail, Caesar!) are the latest actors rumoured to be in consideration. The former is said to have audition more than once for the film.

Idris Elba (Luther, Pacific Rim, Thor, Prometheus, Star Trek Beyond) has reportedly also met with Lucasfilm, but the purpose of his meeting is unknown.

The Han Solo anthology film is scheduled for release on May 25^th, 2018.
