Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has stated that 90% of the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie will be African or African-American.
Feige made the statement on The Empire Film Podcast where he discussed the decision to introduce Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, before getting into the characters solo movie and its cast. He said:
“That will be amongst the best ensembles we’ve ever had and 90% of the cast is either African or African-American.”
The Black Panther movie is scheduled for release on February 16th, 2018. The movie is expected to begin shooting in early 2017.
Thoughts on what Kevin said? Does this make you even more excited for the Black Panther movie?
