Powers Boothe Joins the Cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Gideon Malick

Powers Boothe (Sin City, Deadwood, Nashville) has joined the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Gideon Malick, who will be a recurring character.

Malick is described as a notorious man with his true loyalties completely unknown. Boothe has already appeared in Marvel’s The Avengers as one of the World Security Council members.

Season 3 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D focuses on Coulson and his trusted team searching for new Inhumans appearing around the world. They quickly find they are not the only ones looking for them.
