In response to rumours earlier this week, FOX has confirmed that they still have the rights to The Fantastic Four.
These rumours circulated following the announcement that an X-Men TV series was in the works at FOX’s network. It was believed that the rights to Fantastic Four were exchanged for the TV rights to X-Men, and that Marvel were to release a Fantastic Four movie in 2020. These rumours have been debunked as FOX has owned TV rights to X-Men for years.
FOX still plan to release a sequel to The Fantastic Four, despite its box office disappointment.
