Simon Kinberg is best-known for his work on both the X-Men and Star Wars franchises, but he has made both sets of happy in one go. Kinberg has confirmed that the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will debut ahead of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens when it’s released next month.
This long-awaited announcement follows months of rumours that the trailer was “coming soon”.
Kinberg is quoted as saying the following:
“I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”
X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to be released on May 27th, 2016.
