Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has revealed that his movie and Marvel Studios will have a presence at this years’ San Diego Comic-Con.
Derrickson’s reveal came on Twitter where he shared a picture of a Comic-Con banner featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. He also posted a caption, “Will I be at Comic Con this year? Here’s a hint…”

This news follows rumours that several major studios were planning on skipping the annual event this year. Marvel themselves did take last year off from SDCC in favour of Disney’s D23 expo event.
San Diego Comic Con will take place from July 21st -24th at the San Diego Convention Center. The Doctor Strange movie is scheduled for release on November 4th, 2016.
