Stephen J. Davis, President of Hasbro Studios and Entertainment, confirmed that four more movies’ worth of material has been penned in the Transformers writing room. This was revealed at the MIP Junior Conference 2015.
During a Q&A session at the Conference, he told the audience that they had just finished what he called “an incredible experience” where the future of the franchise was plotted out with “some of the most creative writers [Davis] has ever worked with.”

These writers included Daredevil’s Steve DeKnight, The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, Black Hawk Down’s Ken Nolan, X-Men: The Last Stand’s Zak Penn, The Amazing Spiderman 2’s Jeff Pinkner, Unforgettable’s Christina Hodson, Hibernation’s Geneva Robertson-Dworet, How To Nail An Alien’s Lindsey Beer and Iron Man scribes Art Marcum and Matt Hollloway.
Transformers 5 will see Michael Bay return to direct, with Mark Wahlberg reprising his Age of Extinction role as Cade Yeager and a script by Akiva Goldsman.
As for Transformers 6, 7 and 8? Well, fans will be waiting patiently for more news, but this much we know; the next four films in the Transformers franchise are confirmed and are on their way.
