Marvel Studios reportedly still has plans for the Inhumans movie, according to president Kevin Feige. This report comes just weeks after the movie’s release date was taken away from it.
The Inhumans movie was originally part of the Phase Three line-up. However, with the additions Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and The Wasp changed plans for the line-up. Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Thor: Ragnarok had their release dates changed so it’s likely that Inhumans was moved to make way for the two new additions to the line-up.
Feige said:
“The only situation right now is that [Inhumans] is not gonna be a part of phase three because phase three increased in a very good way since we initially announced. When and where and how it pops up remains to be seen but its characters we love, it’s a storyline we love and we just didn’t want to cram it in to an already quite full phase three.”
The Inhumans movie was originally scheduled for November 2nd, 2018. It was then pushed back until July 12th, 2019, before having its release date taken away entirely.
Thoughts on this report? Are you hopeful that the Inhumans movie will still be released at some point?

*SPOILERS FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR FOLLOW*
Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier (played by Sebastian Stan) will reportedly be appearing in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie.
There was a lot of action between Black Panther and The Winter Soldier in Captain America: Civil War. However, the characters eventually put their differences aside and in the mid-credits scene the latter was frozen in stasis at the former’s home kingdom of Wakanda. The decision was made by Bucky to keep himself in stasis until a cure for his brainwashing could be found.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was asked about the possibility of The Winter Soldier making an appearance in the Black Panther movie. He said:
“It… remains to be seen. He’s certainly in stasis there. Where and when he comes out? I’m not sure…”
The Black Panther movie is scheduled for release on February 16th, 2018. Captain America: Civil War is now in cinemas.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) will not be a part of Thor: Ragnarok, despite starring in the first two Thor films.
Feige had been asked whether the previous rumours of her not returning were true. He said:
“I can confirm that, yes. There are many reasons. Many of which are in the film so you will see that. There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie. 80 to 90 percent takes place in the cosmos. Tonally and geographically there are a lot of different planets outside of the nine realms that we visit in Thor: Ragnarok.”
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for release on November 3rd, 2017.
Thoughts on this news? Are you disappointed that we won’t see Natalie Portman appear in Thor: Ragnarok?

John Boyega (Finn) has stated that Star Wars Episode VIII will have a darker tone compared to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Boyega took a break from filming Episode VIII to attend the Cannes Film Festival where he received the Chopard Trophy, as did Diary of a Teenage Girl star Bel Powley, who was previously rumoured to be joining the Star Wars Episode VIII cast. While there Boyega took the time to talk to Variety about Star Wars.
When asked about Finn’s relationship with Rey, Boyega said:
“Finn and Rey – they’re just friends. Finn is a storm trooper, so he doesn’t really know what’s going on. So the romance thing is something that’s going to be interesting in the next instalment. It’s not going to go the way you think it’s going to go.”
Also, on working with Episode VIII’s director Rian Johnson, he said:
“Rian Johnson is great. It’s a different take, darker, bigger. Someone will say: ‘How do you get bigger than ‘Force Awakens?’ But it’s crazy.”
Star Wars Episode VIII is scheduled for release on December 15th, 2017.
Thoughts on what John said? Are you looking forward to seeing a darker tone in Star Wars Episode VIII?

Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) has stated that the characters in Star Wars Episode VIII will be “tested intensely”.
Isaac was recently promoting his latest film X-Men: Apocalypse, in which he stars as the titular villain Apocalypse, when he talked about Star Wars Episode VIII briefly. He said:
“Well, I’m around, first of all, which is nice. Poe, he gets to be more a part of the story, and all of the characters in the film, they get tested, intensely. It’s a lot of conflict in it, which is great.”
Oscar’s comments that he still gets to be around are a reference to the fact that Poe was originally going to die early on in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, director JJ Abrams and co-writer Lawrence Kasdan changed the script so that the character would stick around.
Star Wars Episode VIII opens on December 15th, 2017.
Thoughts on what Oscar said? Are you looking forward to seeing more of Poe Dameron in Star Wars Episode VIII?
