Ridley Scott, the director of the first Prometheus film, has confirmed that filming on the sequel will begin in February 2016.
Previous reports had suggested that January would be the month for filming to begin, but Scott’s confirmation has proved otherwise. However, he is unsure on whether the film will film in Australia or Toronto.
Scott had the following to say as far as the plot of the sequel is concerned:
“You can either say, leave the first film alone and jump ahead, but you can’t because it ends on too specific a plot sentence as she says, I want to go where they came from, I don’t want to go back to where I came from. I thought the subtext of that film was a bit florid and grandiose, but it asks a good question: who created us?”

We may have only recently started getting set pictures from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but already possible set pictures from Episode VIII have been leaked online.
However, the pictures don’t show much other than crew members setting up though director Rian Johnson was spotted. Producer Ram Bergman and head of photography Steve Yedlin are also said to have been spotted visiting Skellig Michael recently. They were apparently walking the island and taking pictures to survey the area.
The Kerry’s Eye newspaper featured a Star Wars cover with a description which is below:
“A huge production crew for Star Wars VIII – the sequel to the film shot on the World Heritage Site last year – arrived in South Kerry on Tuesday and visited Skellig Michael… The director [Rian Johnson], producer [Ram Bergman], and head of photography [Steve Yedlin] for the blockbuster film – along with up to 30 pre-production crew, were ferried on to the island at around 2.30pm. The crew brought no equipment on board the boats with them, but it is understood that they were walking the island and taking pictures, and spent a number of hours surveying the area.”
No reports on cast members who are filming at Skellig Michael have been released so there’s no indication which characters will feature in the scenes shot there for Episode VIII. However, when The Force Awakens filmed at the location Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Daisy Ridley (Rey) were supposedly spotted so they could be filming there again.

Agent Carter lead Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) has confirmed that Bridget Regan’s character Dottie Underworld will be returning for the second season of Agent Carter.
Atwell had the following to say on the character:
“Oh, she’s a slippery b****. We haven’t seen the last of her. Peggy has male baddies that she fights, but to have someone who is physically her equal — she’s a Black Widow, incredibly capable and very smart — I think that shows some balance for Peggy, like a flip side of the same coin. You’ll see more of her in season two.”
