EGP Website Article Image 677

New footage for the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming soon, according to one of film’s producers Charles Roven.

Roven is quoted as saying the following:

“Honestly, you’re going to be seeing something very soon… I don’t know how you define soon but certainly before the end of the year, how about that?”

Also, Roven had the following to say on the cast they selected for the superhero showdown:

“You will definitely understand when you see the movie why we call it Batman v Superman… I’m excited to have people see it. I think it’s really a wonderful film. I think Zack [Snyder]’s done an amazing job, all of the actors who are in it, we were so lucky. Just think about the cast that we have, from Ben [Affleck] to Henry Cavill, to Amy [Adams] to Jesse [Eisenberg] to Jeremy [Irons] to Larry [Lawrence] Fishburne. Just amazing, and they all really bring it. Really great. Very happy.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for release on March 25th, 2016.

The Walking Dead- Greg Nicotero Teases Upcoming Tribute Walkers

EGP Website Article Image 673

Greg Nicotero was already a legend to horror fans before being hired to work on The Walking Dead as the zombie make-up guru and an executive producer, but he always looks to give back to fans of his horror work by throwing in tributes to zombies from some of the horror films he worked on.

Nicotero recently talked about the tribute walkers this season and if we can expect any more tribute walkers this season:

“There is a couple in the back half. You know what’s ironic, I had an awesome walker cameo that we put in a scene in episode six but in the editing process the scene was removed so the tribute walker got cut out. I’m still gonna do it at some point but I feel like after the fact, I missed a great opportunity. Because of the black and white in 6×01, I would’ve had a perfect opportunity to do a Night of the Living Dead homage and actually shoot a zombie in black and white and make it look like a scene from Night of the Living Dead. I kind of missed the boat a little bit there because I hadn’t anticipated that opportunity was gonna be there but there’s some great tribute walkers coming up for sure. There could be a little Tarman Return of the Living Dead, there could be another Dawn of the Dead… I put them in because I love doing them for us. You do thousands of make-ups and to have an opportunity to recreate a make-up or a character that you just loved, that inspired you, it’s sort of my nerd-version of paying back.”

Game of Thrones- George R.R. Martin Reveals That He Wants Bittersweet Ending

Recently, Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin did two talks at the Medill School of Journalism. While the first talk focused on the Big Ten school, the second talk was of more interest to geeks as he talked about Game of Thrones.

Specifically, he opened up about how he would like the show to end.

Martin is quoted as saying the following:

“I think you need to have some hope. We all yearn for happy endings in a sense. Myself, I’m attracted to the bittersweet ending. People ask me how Game of Thrones is gonna end, and I’m not gonna tell them … but I always say to expect something bittersweet in the end, like [J.R.R. Tolkien]. I think Tolkien did this brilliantly. I didn’t understand that when I was a kid — when I read Return of the King.”

Rumours have been circling for months on how many seasons the show will end at, so it’s interesting to hear Martin give his opinion on the type of ending he would like for the show.
