Ever since the trailer for the Legends of Tomorrow series was released, DC fans have been eagerly awaiting confirmation on the premier date of the show. The premier date has now reportedly been revealed…
The possible premier date was let slip in a two-hour conversation between Warner Bros TV’s President and Chief Content Officer Peter Roth and producer Greg Berlanti, the producer of three DC shows- Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.
When talking about Legends of Tomorrow, Roth said that “we have very high hopes for on January the twenty-first,” indicating the likely premier date of the series.
This would see Legends of Tomorrow airing on Thursday’s, meaning three DC shows would air on The CW in as many days (The Flash on Tuesday’s, Arrow on Wednesday’s and Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday’s).

Star Wars fans are eager to learn about new villain Kylo Ren in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, but while they wait a new image of the character has been released (which can be seen at the top of this article).
The image was revealed by Empire, who also had the chance to interview Ren’s actor Adam Driver. A quote from the interview can be read below:
“When they think of their actions as morally justified, it makes them dangerous and unpredictable. There’s no level they won’t go to accomplish what they’re after. I never thought of the character as an evil person.”
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is scheduled for release on December 17th in the UK/Ireland.

Just like with Arrow, The CW has released the synopsis for the midseason finale of The Flash. The second season’s midseason finale is titled “Running to Stand Still”.
The synopsis can be read below:
“When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse AKA The Trickster (guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) meet Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).”
The CW have released the synopsis for the Arrow episode “Dark Waters”, which is the midseason finale episode of the shows fourth season.
The synopsis can be read below:
“After the city is attacked again, Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes a bold move against HIVE. Malcolm (John Barrowman) checks in on Thea (Willa Holland) and leaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver’s mayoral holiday party.”
EA’s take on the Star Wars: Battlefront video-game series is only a few days old after its release, but already EA are looking to make sequels to their first Battlefront game.
EA CFO Blake Jorgenson is quoted as saying the following:
“We struck a licensing deal with Disney a few years back that’s almost ten years in length. The game that comes out tomorrow, Star Wars Battlefront, is a traditional first-person style shooter game. Our goal is to make future Battlefront games as well as other style games around the Star Wars franchise, both on mobile as well as console and PC. It’s a huge opportunity for us.”
Sounds like we won’t have to wait another decade for a new Star Wars: Battlefront, which can only be a good thing.
Also, Jorgenson talked about the possibilities for EA with their Star Wars video-games. He is quoted as saying the following on that subject:
“We get access to all of the historical content as well as all the new content developed. The beauty of the Star Wars franchise is it’s almost unlimited in what you can do with it. We know Disney has done a great job with other franchises and we believe they’ll do the same with Star Wars over time in delivering new worlds, new characters, new vehicles, all the things that make great video games. Our goal is not to make video games directly about the movies, it’s to use the IP in the movie to make great, exciting games.”
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has revealed numerous nods to the previous Star Wars films in the footage that has been released, but one thing it didn’t have is the creator of the franchise in a big way- George Lucas retired after selling Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012.
However, ahead of The Force Awakens’ release, Lucas has talked about why doesn’t want to direct anymore Star Wars films. Lucas is quoted as saying the following:
“You go to make a movie and all you do is get criticized. And it’s not much fun. You can’t experiment.”
Also, he gave the following suggestions for the film:
“There’s more to it than just spaceships,” and “the Force doesn’t get muddled into a bunch of gobbledygook.”
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will introduce a full cast of new heroes to the Star Wars universe, one of whom will be played by actor Riz Ahmed (Rick in Nightcrawler, Shifty in Shifty, Shafiq in The Road to Guantanamo, Omar in Four Lions and Aaron in Ill Manors).
Ahmed’s character is rumoured to be called Bodhi Rook, according to Spotlight. He is speculated to be a technician or mechanic.
