New teaserimages for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice continue to be released with the film a month away. The latest image shows a close-up of Batman’s mask being held by Superman (as seen in the clip that was released during Gotham’s midseason finale).
“In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open on March 25th, 2016.

The second season of Gotham is resuming very soon with the midseason premier focusing on Mr. Freeze. The episode is aptly titled “Mr. Freeze” and FOX have released a trailer for the episode.

Allison Paige (Days of Our Lives, Detention, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries) has been cast as female speedster Trajectory in The CW’s on-going The Flash series.
Paige will debut in the 16th episode of the second season. A description of the character in the show can be read below:
“Having arrived in town intent on creating maximum chaos, Trajectory’s antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by the Flash himself. Barry thus must quickly uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask — as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction.”

The first glimpse into one of the levels in Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens (based on last years’ movie) has been released.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Lead Designer Josh Pickering Pick is quoted as saying the following on the Jakku level:
“I think this one just works really well. It’s nice and varied, you get to slide down this section here, and then you land into this arena area where you have some gameplay, then you move into the hangar as well. It’s destroyed and darker inside. For one level it’s got quite a few unique areas visually, which is always a challenge.”

Following the announcement that the popular Lego Star Wars video-games will be returning with Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, two featurettes have been released giving Star Wars fans another looking at the game based on last years’ movie.

New rumours for this years’ Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, are starting to surface on a weekly basis now. The latest rumour possibly reveals the name of the character that will be played by lead actress Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything, The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Jones’ character is reportedly called Jyn and her codename is “Seal Leader Green”. As previous rumours have indicated, “Seal” is the codename for the Rebel characters in the film.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2016.

Star Wars Episode VIII has officially begun production. A press release on StarWars.com has revealed the cast and crew for the movie, due out in 2017.
The press release reads as follows:
“Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII, which began principal photography at Pinewood Studios in London on February 15, 2016.
Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. New cast members will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and talented newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski. Nintendo have officially revealed the 722nd Pokémon- Magearna. Magearna, an “artificial Pokémon”, will make its debut in this years’ Pokémon movie.
A description of the Pokémon can be read below:
“Magearna was created by humans 500 years ago and stores some sort of mysterious power within its body.”
No details on Magearna’s stats or abilities have been announced, but it’s speculated to be a steel/fairy hybrid.
This years’ Pokémon movie is titled “Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna” in Japanese, featuring Ash and Volcanion reluctantly teaming up to rescue Magearna from a corrupt minister from an artificial Azoth Kingdom.
It’s rumoured that Magearna is part of the next generation of Pokémon games, as there is no data on it in the X and Y games.
