Report- Captain America Civil War Will Have a Controversial Ending and Pepper Potts Will Appear
Captain America: Civil War will reportedly have a controversial ending, much like the comic book series of the same name did.
Co-director Joe Russo is quoted as saying the following:
“The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier]. In Civil War, we’re going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s psychology, and it’s an extreme shift.”
The source also confirms that Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) will make an appearance in Civil War. It will be her first appearance since Iron Man 3 (released in 2013).
Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th, 2016.

Lego Star Wars The Freemaker Adventures TV Series Officially Announced
A new animated Lego Star Wars TV series has officially been announced. The series, titled “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures”, will air on Disney XD in the US and Canada.
The series will be set between The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). It will include new characters to the Star Wars universe, as well as numerous fan favourites.
A press release reads as follows:
“Told in the whimsically-charged style that audiences have come to expect from LEGO Star Wars entertainment, the series stars the Freemakers, a family of scavengers who build and sell starships from the scoured debris of space battles strewn throughout the galaxy. When their youngest discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact — the Kyber Saber — his world is turned upside down, and he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Throughout their adventures, the Freemakers explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters, and learn the true value of what it means to be a family.
“We are very excited to launch for the first time a TV series with Disney XD,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment at the LEGO Group. “The creative team behind The Freemaker Adventures is extremely talented, and the series is a great testament to our longstanding and successful partnership with Lucasfilm and Disney. The show masterfully combines the rich heritage of storytelling, great characters, action, and adventure in a galaxy far, far away with the creativity, imagination, and humor that only LEGO Star Wars can deliver. We are sure fans young and old are going to love the show.”
“With The Freemaker Adventures we are thrilled to bring all-new stories to life that could only be realized in the LEGO Star Wars universe,” said Carrie Beck, vice president, animation development at Lucasfilm. “We are embarking on an unprecedented collaboration that will allow us to extend the narrative experience of the Star Wars saga with the same playful spirit that’s always made LEGO Star Wars so much fun to watch. We are so thankful to have such great partners in the LEGO Group, Disney XD, and series developers Bill Motz and Bob Roth.”
LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is a production of Wil Film, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm. Developed for television by Bill Motz and Bob Roth (Penguins of Madagascar), they join Torsten Jacobson (LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales) and Jill Wilfert (The LEGO Movie) as executive producers alongside producers Carrie Beck (Star Wars Rebels), Jason Cosler (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled!), Jake Blais, and John McCormack.”
Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures will begin airing this summer.

Star Wars- Description of Rogue One Merchandise Packaging Reportedly Revealed
New York Toy Fair has come and gone. A number of new Star Wars figures were revealed but nothing from this years’ upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, attendees got a brief glimpse of the new packaging for Star Wars merchandise. The packaging for all Star Wars merchandise will be based on the film (even if the merchandise is based on something from the other films).
Details on the new packaging are as follows:
- Packaging features the heroes in a “V” style group pose.
- Rogue One title is printed beneath the group shot.
- A large right-facing Darth Vader helmet is situated above the group shot to the right.
- There is some male character dressed in all white with what looks to be a cape. He is located in the lower right section beneath the group shot.
This sounds like a very interesting packaging. Most packaging for Star Wars merchandise has only had one character (Kylo Ren, Yoda, Darth Vader etc.) so this sounds like it will be something different.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2016.

New Captain America Civil War Photos Released
Marvel Studios have released three new photos from Captain America: Civil War.
The photos were featured in the latest issue of Empire Magazine. They include a close-up of Crossbones (Frank Grillo), a look at Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in her new costume and a shot of Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) flanked by soldiers.
“Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.”
Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th, 2016.
