EA have revealed new details on the first of this year’s expansion packs for Star Wars: Battlefront, titled “The Outer Rim”. The expansion pack was originally announced back in January.
“The Outer Rim” includes new maps on Sullust and Tatooine (Jabba’s Palace). It also includes a new game mode and a new playable hero and villain (Nien Nunb as the hero and Greedo as the villain). Players on the side of the Rebel Alliance will get to play as Nunb and players on the side of the Galactic Empire will get to play as Greedo.
Details on the new game mode, “Extraction”, can be read below:
“Rebel forces have entered some of the most dangerous places in the Outer Rim in order to extract a valuable shipment of resources. Now they must bring the shipment to their transport ship before time runs out. The Empire has arrived to stop them from reaching the extraction point.”
This expansion pack is available in the game’s season pass (which can be bought for $69.99).
