Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling has confirmed that the spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films will indeed be a trilogy.
This had been speculated since the reveal of Warner Bros. slate of films up to (and including) 2020, but this is official confirmation that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be three films.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.”
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled for release on November 18th.

After years of video-games being set in the present day (or future), it looks like one video-game franchise is preparing to take a gamble.
Battlefield 5 will reportedly be set in World War 1, a time period that has virtually been untouched by the popular video-game franchises like Battlefield.
The report comes from German retailer World of Games having Battlefield 5 described as a “multiplayer tactical shooter in WW1”.
Battlefield has previously tackled World War II, Vietnam, the present and the future, so this could mark video-games finally looking to the past again for inspiration.
Battlefield 5 is scheduled for release on October 26th. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Lauren Cohan, who stars as Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead, has teased that her character will be taking on more of a leadership role in the future of the show.
Cohan is quoted as saying the following:
“It’s been really interesting, because Deanna saw things in Maggie that she didn’t necessarily see in herself when they got to Alexandria, and I think the most important part was that she could be this intermediary. She understood the way her group functioned, but she also has that hopeful vision and aligned with that hopeful vision that Deanna had to create a sustainable community.
And this is all coming before she’s pregnant, before she knows that they’re going to have a baby, and so it’s very fortunate that she gains these lessons from Deanna. And then what we get to see as we progress is Rick saying that Deanna was right. These are the things you have to do, and he’s realizing that Maggie may be able to deal with certain people that he isn’t able to. He’s, well, you know, brutish.
So, we have this sort of combined approach to a lot of the future challenges that we’ll see this season, and it’s fantastic. I feel really lucky to have had both Scott Wilson and Tovah Feldshuh to have as Maggie’s mentors, because they’ve been my mentors too, and these actors, I mean, they’ve just done everything. To be able to learn from them and then have that portray that in the show has been really fun.”
Maggie’s growth was evident in the recent “Knots Untie” episode of The Walking Dead, where she successfully makes a deal with Hilltop Colony leader Gregory. Her time with the Alexandria Safe-Zones’s previous leader (Deanna Monroe) is responsible for Maggie emerging as a leader.
