The CW has released the official synopsis for the upcoming The Flash episode “Invincible”. The episode will air on May 17th.
The synopsis can be read below:
“After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary’s Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Iris (Candice Patton) and Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom.”

Marvel Studios and Netflix have released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming The Punisher series.

The Punisher series will continue Frank Castle’s one man war on crime (first shown in the second season of Daredevil).
No estimated release date for the series has been revealed.
The Punisher will be the sixth Marvel series on Netflix following Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and the crossover miniseries The Defenders.

Following months of rumours, Netflix have officially ordered a Daredevil spin-off series centred on The Punisher. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role of Frank Castle aka The Punisher from Daredevil Season 2.
Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, Casualty) has signed on as the showrunner and an executive writer. Lightfoot will also write the first two episodes of the show.

Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb is quoted as saying the following to accompany the announcement:
“We want to thank the fans who are clamoring for more of Jon’s stunning and powerful performance as Frank Castle from Marvel’s Daredevil. Now combined with Showrunner Steve Lightfoot’s compelling writing, we’re thrilled to bring Marvel’s The Punisher to Netflix.”
Netflix’s Vice President of Original Content Cindy Holland had the following to add:
“Jon hooked our global audience with his performance as Frank Castle from the moment he stepped on screen in Marvel’s Daredevil, and we are looking forward to seeing more of him in this role under the vision of Steve Lightfoot.”
Lightfoot himself had the following to say:
“For me, the complexity and unpredictability of Frank Castle make him an incredibly compelling character and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into his world. After watching Jon’s performance in Marvel’s Daredevil I could not be more excited to be working with him to further develop and progress the story of this anti-hero in a show of his own.”

The CW has officially released the synopsis for the upcoming The Flash episode “The Runaway Dinosaur”. The episode will air on May 10th.
The synopsis can be read below:
“With Barry gone, the team must figure out a way to handle the return of an old enemy – Girder. Realizing Girder is retracing his steps from his last attack, Iris volunteers to act as bait to trap him in S.T.A.R. Labs. Meanwhile, Barry fights to return to his old life.”
The episode was directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks) and written by Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class, Thor, Power Rangers).
