Legendary composer John Williams (Indiana Jones films, Star Wars films, Jurassic Park films, Harry Potter, Superman, Jaws, Schindler’s List, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) will be returning to the Indiana Jones franchise to score the fifth instalment in the long-running film series.
The news was revealed by director Steven Spielberg at the American Film Tribute. Spielberg is also returning to the franchise, along with Harrison Ford in the title role.
Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Fantastic Four, Fruitvale Station, Chronicle) has confirmed that he will be playing a role in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie. Jordan’s confirmation (in an interview with THR at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic) follows the rumour that he would be appearing in the film.
Jordan said:
“I’m super excited, especially to put a different spin on it. I’m looking forward to working with Ryan [Coogler] once again. It’s gonna be a good time.”
However, Jordan hasn’t revealed any details on his character at this time.
Black Panther will mark the third time Jordan has worked with director Ryan Coogler. They previously worked together on Creed (2015) and Fruitvale Station (2013).
The Black Panther movie is scheduled for release on February 16th, 2018.
Thoughts on this news? Are you looking forward to seeing Michael B. Jordan as part of the Black Panther cast?
Weapon X is rumoured to be the title of Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine movie.
The source behind the rumour indicates that the title, along with the first footage and a poster from the film, will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con next month.
The Weapon X Wolverine recently appeared in X-Men: Apocalypse. Given that the post-credits scene from Apocalypse showed the Essex Corporation gathering the project’s data it seemed natural that the scene would tie into next years’ Wolverine film in some way. A mad scientist and a corporate executive will be the main villains of the film, both of which are suited to a film surrounding the dodgy government organization.
The Wolverine 3 is scheduled for release on March 3rd, 2017.
Thoughts on this rumour? Are you looking forward to the release of The Wolverine 3?
