As previously reported, Star Wars: Rebels Season 2 begins airing October 14th with the episode “The Lost Commanders” featuring Captain Rex, Captain Gregor and Commander Wolffe from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Now that we have the release date, StarWars.com has also released a new clip from the episode.
The clip features Ahsoka Tano sending the crew of The Ghost on a mission. The mission is to find an old friend of hers (implied to be Captain Rex as Ahsoka is wary that Kanan Jarrus won’t trust her friend) by using a Separatist Tactical Droid head.

In Star Wars Rebels Season Two, past lives will be revealed and the destiny of our heroes will be changed forever. The transformative new season resumes with Imperial oppression on Lothal growing stronger and the Rebels seeking out new allies and additional resources to sustain their fight against the evil Empire. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, the crew of the Ghost enlists some old friends: ex-clone troopers who fought in the Clone Wars. As the Rebels grow in number, so do their enemies. New Inquisitors are dispatched by Darth Vader and sent to crush any threat of rebellion. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space chases, and spectacular lightsaber duels — the bond of our Rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.

A lot of DC fans were very excited when actress Viola Davis was cast as Amanda Waller for the Suicide Squad film, but Viola herself has now confirmed that not only is she in Suicide Squad but will be in two other DC films!
Davis said the following to The New York Times: “This is my first big superhero movie. I signed on for three, so it needed to be a great experience. This was a role that was just there to be fun. It was a chance to work with Will Smith, you know?”
DC currently have ten movies coming out as revealed in their current slate last year which carries on until and through 2020. No sequel to Suicide Squad has been announced, so the most likely scenario is that she is in both parts of the Justice League film.

Hannibal may have unfortunately been cancelled earlier in the year, but actor Mads Mikkelsen is still a busy man. He was recently revealed to be part of the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story cast and now it’s rumoured that he’s about to enter talks to play a villain in Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange film.
The report indicates that Mikkelsen, best-known for his roles as Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal and Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royale, has not been given an official offer to appear in Doctor Strange yet but that one will be presented very soon.
Confirmed cast members include Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One.
Thoughts on this rumour? Which Doctor Strange villain would you like to see Mads Mikkelsen play?
Note: Rogue One is currently filming and filming is rumoured to wrap up in late October, whereas filming on Doctor Strange is officially starting in November so it’s possible for Mikkelsen to be in both films.

A new report suggests that Amazon Studios is looking to sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest (released in 1999) into a TV series. Paramount Television are said to be partnering up with Amazon to develop the series.
Several crew members who worked on the original film are confirmed to return.
