The image shows a wall (possibly of either Warner Bros. Animation or Cartoon Network’s offices) and features a poster saying “JLA” on the far right of the image. The poster is alongside other animated shows posters, including Be Cool Scooby Doo and Wabbit (both of which begin airing before the end of the year).

We can guess that the following characters are on the poster: Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, another male figure that is probably a Green Lantern or Flash, an unidentifiable female, another female, a Hawk like-person down at the bottom and five unidentifiable characters. Safe to say it’s a pretty big line-up.

Report- Lucy Lawless Not Involved with the Xena Reboot

EGP Website Article Image 99

Lucy Lawless may have played the title character in the original Xena: Warrior Princess series, but the actress has indicated it’s unlikely she will be approached to appear in or work on the NBC reboot.

“I really don’t see that. I’m probably not up for that gig. I can’t imagine how you could tell the story with me at 47-years-old and make it work. I’ve never received a call about the reboot- it’s nothing to do with us honestly, though I know original series executive producer and Lawless’s husband Rob Tapert is meeting with them.”

It had been previously reported that NBC were looking for a younger lead.

However, Lawless does hope the show goes down well with fans of the original series:

“It’d be crazy not to make it one way or another. I just hope they can honour the original intent of the show and I really do want Xena and Gabrielle to live again one way or another. I’d love to be part of that, but even if I’m not, I wish them well.”

Thoughts on what Lucy said? Are you disappointed that Lucy won’t be appearing in the Xena reboot?
