Lucasfilm have announced a new exclusive for Star Wars Celebration Europe next month. Several costumes and props from the upcoming film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be on display at the convention.
A similar exhibit took place last year at Celebration Anaheim which showcased costumes and props from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
A statement on the Star Wars Celebration website says:
“Fans attending Star Wars Celebration can look forward to yet another exclusive experience that only Celebrations can provide: a sneak peek at some of the costumes and props that will be featured in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, curated especially for the show.
Plans are in the works for a walk-through exhibit where fans can get up close to admire the craftsmanship and incredible design of artifacts actually used on the Rogue One sets.
This special exhibit of Rogue One props and costumes will be available all three days of the show to anyone holding a valid Star Wars Celebration ticket.”
Star Wars Celebration Europe will be taking place from July 15th-17th at the ExCel Center in London, England.

Screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens) has revealed that the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo anthology movie will begin filming in January 2017.
Kasdan recently won the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival’s first Icon Award for Contributions to the Cinematic Arts. Before accepting the award he took part in a Q&A and the subject of the Han Solo film came up. A transcript of what was said follows:
Q: “What can you tell us about the Han Solo project?”
Lawrence Kasdan: “Young Han! (Laughs).”
Q: “For the fans, generally speaking, should they be excited?”
Lawrence Kasdan: “Oh, I think so! You know, Chris Miller and Phil Lord are going to direct it. They’re great, funny and imaginative and we’ve had a great time together. My son [Jon] and I wrote the script and Chris and Phil are working on it and they’re about to move to London to start shooting in January. And it should be fun.”
Q: “2018 is the release date?”
Lawrence Kasdan: “Yes. They’re actually scheduled for May. The [other Star Wars films] are falling on Christmas — Rogue One and Episode 8. Han will come before Episode 9.”
The Han Solo anthology movie is scheduled for release on May 25th, 2018.
