Justice League director Zack Snyder has revealed a new look at Batman’s tactical Batsuit that will be seen in the film. The new look image is the first time we’ve seen Ben Affleck (who debuted as Batman earlier this year in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) in the new Batsuit.
The image shows Affleck’s Batman standing next to the Batmobile.
Costume designer Michael Wilkinson said to ComicBook.com on the suit:
“So in the final chapter of our film, Batman realizes he has to step up his game a little bit and he and Alfred have been working on developing a suit that’s even more protective and offers more deflection than the classic suit. So in a sense, it’s piece of armor.
So you can see the classic suit underneath, but on top are straps and layers of the carbon fiber, strengthening armor plates, he’s got sort of a leather layer upon here that he is strapping all over his plates onto the wrapping around his body and offering just a little more protection than the old. He’s also going to get a new cowl with some new tech details and that gives him even more protection. We’re going to do some goggles for him, a new tech cape made out of our carbon fiber weave.”
Wilkinson also teased that the goggles are there for a specific reason:
“We liked the way that they catch the light and give that classic image from the comic books. But he’ll also be piloting a new vehicle that he will need these goggles for.”
Justice League is currently filming and is scheduled for release on November 16th, 2017.
Thoughts on the tactical Batsuit? Are you looking forward to seeing Batman wearing it in the Justice League film?

AMC have released the official synopsis for the seventh season of The Walking Dead.
The synopsis reads as follows:
“Up until this point, our characters have lived through conflicts… Disease, hunger, scores of the undead, tragedy, betrayal, and unthinkable loss. Through this, they’ve become formidable. Powerful. Unstoppable.
To start Season Seven, that power is taken away. They had found safety and stability. They had created a home. They thought the world was theirs. They thought they knew the world. They were wrong.
The first half of Season Seven sees our group fractured, broken, bereaved, and picking up the pieces while living under the thumb of oppression. Negan will have successfully brought the survivors under his control, brutally convincing them to live under his rules with a deadly and horrific example of what happens if they don’t.
Other characters are unaware of what’s happened, but have become separated from the group either by incident or choice — they will learn that they can’t escape this new turn of their world, either. This half season is about these characters starting over.
The overall theme of the season is beginning again. The world isn’t what they thought it was. It’s bigger and it’s even more dangerous.”
The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere Sunday, October 23rd at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
