Logan director James Mangold has officially revealed the first look at Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier aka Professor X in his film. Stewart is reprising the role he originally played in X-Men (2000). Xavier’s appearance in the film can be seen in in the image above.
Xavier’s weathered appearance seems to match rumours that Logan will be set in the year 2024 and that (potential spoilers ahead…) Professor X’s once powerful telepathic mind has begun to fail him.
Logan is scheduled to be released on March 3rd, 2017.
Thoughts on this new look for Patrick Stewart’s Professor X? Are you looking forward to seeing the role Professor X plays in Logan?

Hugh Jackman (Logan/The Wolverine) has revealed the official title for the third Wolverine solo film (which will also mark his last performance as the iconic superhero) after months of speculation on what the title would be.
Contrary to speculation that the film would be titled “Weapon X”, Jackman has revealed via Twitter that the title of the film is simply Logan. Jackman tweeted a photo of a poster for the film as can be seen below:
Director James Mangold since revealed a better look at the official poster (which can be seen at the top of this article). The poster shows Wolverine’s hand (with his claws sticking out) holding the hand of a child.
Mangold also revealed a page from the Logan script which can be viewed below:

Warwick Davis (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Willow) has confirmed that he will be appearing in Star Wars Episode VIII.
Davis was recently asked directly in an interview with News.com.au if he has a role in Episode VIII. His response was:
“I do, yes. That’s all I can say.”
He was also asked about his thoughts after watching The Force Awakens:
“I enjoyed it immensely. I’m excited by J.J. Abrams work anyway, I love his style. For me it’s very reminiscent of the films I went to when I was a kid. I loved Super 8 and I love the new Star Trek, and it just reminded me of many of the great films of the 1980s. There was such a great energy, I think he captured the humour of the original trilogy so well. What we loved about those films was that they didn’t take themselves too seriously in places and were able to kind of look at themselves and have a bit of a chuckle. There were some wonderful moments, some moving moments and it was full of all the action that we expect, so for me it ticked all the boxes, I loved it. And I think it sets up the trilogy very well. Obviously we’re moving into the territory of Episode VIII very soon as well, and much like Empire Strikes Back I’m sure it’s going to deliver some quite impactful story moments, and it’ll leave us with some cliffhangers as well which will resolve in Episode IX.”
Davis is no stranger to the Star Wars universe as a big fan of the franchise and has appeared in every trilogy thus far. His previous roles in the Star Wars universe include Wicket in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983), Wald and Weazel in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) and Wollivan in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).
Davis was also seen in the sizzle reel for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story released at Star Wars Celebration Europe back in July.
Star Wars Episode VIII is scheduled for release on December 15th, 2017.
Thoughts on this news? Are you excited that Warwick Davis will be appearing in Star Wars Episode VIII?
