Clare Foley (Sinister, Southpaw) will no longer be playing the younger version of Poison Ivy when the third season of Gotham rolls around. A new report indicates that the Gotham crew are looking to re-cast an older actress in the role of Ivy Pepper.
The source states:
“Casting is underway for an actress in her late teens to assume the now-series regular role of the would-be eco-terrorist.”
As the source indicates, it sounds like Ivy will be playing a much bigger role in the third season. Foley’s Pepper was a recurring character by contrast.
Foley also played a young Piper in Orange Is the New Black.
The third season of Gotham will begin airing later this year.
