Drew Powell (Butch Gilzean) has revealed the titles of the first two episodes in the third season of Gotham.
The reveal came when Powell tweeted an image of the first two scripts for the upcoming season. You can view the scripts below:
The Season 3 premiere episode is titled “Better to reign in Hell…”. The following episode is titled “Burn the Witch”. Danny Cannon is directing both episodes. Cannon has previously directed the episodes “Pilot”, “Selina Kyle”, “All Happy Families Are Alike” and “Damned If You Do”.
“On Season Three of Gotham, the origin story continues and the stakes are higher than ever, as Super-Villains more ambitious and depraved are introduced, and a realignment of alliances shakes up the fight for power in Gotham City.”
The third season of Gotham will premiere on Monday, September 19th.
Thoughts on the episode titles? Are you looking forward to the third season of Gotham?
Series lead Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash) has revealed the episode title for the third season premiere of The Flash.
The third season premiere of the hit series from The CW will be titled “Flashpoint”. Gustin revealed the title on Twitter after receiving permission from producer Greg Berlanti.
A description of the Flashpoint event in DC Comics can be read below:
“Flashpoint” is a reference the major DC Comics event series of the same name. Flashpoint, written by now DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff John and drawn by Andy Kubert, takes place in an alternate DC Universe timeline where Bruce Wayne is dead, Thomas Wayne is Batman, there is no known Superman, and New Themyscira and Atlantis are on the brink of war. The only one who remembers the true DC Universe timeline is Barry Allen, who is shocked to discover that his previously deceased mother, Nora Allen, is alive in the new timeline. The big twist comes when it is revealed that Barry created the Flashpoint universe by travelling back in time to prevent the Reverse-Flash from killing Nora. Barry’s attempt to undo his previous action and restore the original timeline ends up being a catalyst for the creation of the New 52 DC Universe.”
Fans have speculated that the Flashpoint event was coming since the second season finale episode “The Race of his Life” aired.
The third season of The Flash will begin airing later in the year.
Thoughts on the title? Are you looking forward to the third season of The Flash?

Earlier in the week we had the opportunity to interview Dragons: Race to the Edge showrunners Douglas Sloan and Art Brown courtesy of Dreamworks. We discussed a variety of topics with them including how they originally got involved with Dragons: Riders of Berk, the challenges of developing Dragons: Race to the Edge, the shows villains and the Dragon Eye. During the interview they also revealed some things fans can look forward to in the next thirteen episodes from Race to the Edge.
Host Ruari Williamson asked them to talk about the things fans can look forward to in the third season. “You will be able to see the musical”, Sloan replied. “We think it’s one of our best episodes and is really funny.”
“Lots of dragons as usual”, Brown added. “Lots of new dragons. There’s some really cool ones coming. The Cavern Crasher, the Singetail and the Triple Strike. The Singetail and the Triple Strike will play out in future seasons”, Brown continued.
“Those are very important dragons”, Sloan added. Brown continued, “Those are ones to keep an eye on because they have bigger stories ultimately attached to them.”
The showrunners also revealed that long-time villain Dagur the Deranged will get his own dragon. “You’ll also see Dagur get his first dragon, which is really cool and hilarious”, Brown stated.
Gobber the Belch hasn’t appeared a lot in the Race to the Edge series, but the showrunners revealed that the upcoming episodes will reveal how he got his dragon Grump from How To Train Your Dragon 2. “You’ll see how Gobber got Grump”, Brown said.
Story has always been an important element in the How To Train Your Dragon franchise and the next episodes of Race to the Edge will be no different. “In terms of story, you’ll really see how the Dagur, Heather and {Dragon} Riders story plays out. You’ll {also} see some good emotional stuff between Hiccup and Astrid”, said Brown.
Chicken has become a fan-favourite since its introduction in Race to the Edge. Chicken is also a favourite with the crew of the show and Sloan and Brown promised more of Chicken this season. “You’ll see some more of Tuffnut and Chicken. We love Chicken”, Brown said. “Chicken’s one of our favourite characters”, Sloan added.
Adelaide Kane (Reign, Teen Wolf) joins the cast in the next batch of episodes. “We introduce a new tribe and she’s part of that”, Sloan said. “They’re called the Defenders of the Wing”, Brown added.

Forest Whitaker’s (The Shield, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, The Last King of Scotland, The Butler, Taken 3) character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has officially been revealed.
Whitaker will be playing Saw Gerrera, a character first seen in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Rogue One will mark the first appearance of an animated character from The Clone Wars in live-action with Whitaker’s portrayal of Saw Gerrera. Gerrera appeared in the shows Onderon arc in the fifth season. More recently, he has been referenced in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels and the novel Bloodline.
Whitaker’s portrayal will have a visual homage to Saw’s look in The Clone Wars. EW states:
“The eyes are different — the animated show featured vivid aquamarine eyes, while Whitaker’s are brown — but they maintained the scar that slices up over his left eye. (In the cartoon, it bisects the eyebrow, but in the live-action film, the cut arches just above it.) In this new image of Whitaker, he also looks fairly different than what we first saw in the trailer. Here, he has a full head of hair, while in the previous footage he was shaved.”
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy stated:
“Consider him kind of a battered veteran who leads a band of Rebel extremists, He’s on the fringe of the Rebel Alliance. Even [they] are a little concerned about him…. He’s off on his own.”
Whitaker’s role had been shrouded in secrecy for a long time, even though he appeared and had a line in the trailer.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2016.
Thoughts on this news? Does this make you even more excited to see Forest Whitaker’s performance in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?
