Directors Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War) have confirmed that Star-Lord and Thor will be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War.

Both brothers were recently asked which characters they’re looking forward to working on most. Anthony started off by saying:

“The movies are intended to be a culmination of everything that’s happened before in the MCU so you don’t want to get into spoilers but I’m a big fan of what James Gunn has done.  [Joe and I] are both big fans of what James Gunn has done. Star-Lord is a fantastic character and Chris Pratt is an awesome performer so you’d be very excited.”

Joe is then quoted as saying the following on Thor:

“I’m excited to work with Thor. They’re doing some really interesting stuff with Ragnarok and where he’s gonna be at the beginning of Infinity War is gonna be a very interesting place and I think very profound. I think he’s gonna have a real emotional motivation after that.”

Avengers: Infinity War Parts I and II are scheduled for release on May 4th, 2018 and May 3rd, 2019.

Report- Avengers Infinity War to be a Multi-Perspective Film

EGP Website Article Image 1524

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War) have stated the Avengers: Infinity War will be a multi-perspective two-part film.

The Russo brothers are quoted as saying the following when asked if Infinity War will be bigger than Civil War:

“Oh, yeah! I mean, it has to be. It’s a culmination of everything that’s occurred in the Marvel Universe up to the point where the Marvel Universe is released. Some of those films haven’t even hit yet. We’re going to be dealing with some of the characters from those movies who are going to be in Infinity War. They’re massive in scope and scale but that’s the point. The point is for them to be as ambitious as they possibly can be. They’re going to be multi-perspective films. They’re not called ‘Captain America: Infinity War,’ they’re called Infinity War. You’re going to be moving around through different perspectives of the characters. It’s like Nashville for super heroes. It’s storytelling that is vignetted storytelling. It’s to composite all of them under one story – everybody. You can culminate without all of them, so…”

The brothers also teased that the characters they’re looking forward to using are Thor and Star-Lord, neither of which they’ve had the opportunity to use in their Captain America films.

Avengers: Infinity War Parts I and II are scheduled for release on May 4th, 2018 and May 3rd, 2019.

Report- New Details on Star Trek Beyond Character Krall Revealed

EGP Website Article Image 1520

Idris Elba (Luther, Pacific Rim, Thor, Prometheus) has revealed new details on his Star Trek Beyond character Krall.

Details on the character have been scarce so far, but Elba is quoted as saying the following on Krall:

“This is a man with a definite purpose. I say a man, but he’s not a man. Or is he? What’s interesting about him is that he has a real beef with what the Enterprise stands for. Krall’s a character who’s deeply steeped in hatred — in my opinion, a well-earned hatred — for the Federation.”

Elba also added that not everyone in the universe looks at the crew of the Enterprise as “the good guys.” He also revealed that Krall is a member of a brand new species (not a new take on the Gorn as some Star Trek fans had speculated).

Star Trek Beyond is scheduled for release on July 22nd, 2016.

Thoughts on the new details? Are you excited to see what Krall adds to Star Trek Beyond?
