Rumour- More Details on the Stormtroopers in Rogue One A Star Wars Story Revealed

EGP Website Article Image 1248

The rumour mill for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story continues to heat up. We’ve already heard some rumoured details on the film’s new Stormtroopers in recent weeks, but the latest rumour reveals more details on the new Stormtroopers that may be seen in Rogue One.

*This is only a rumour and may or may not be accurate. However, if you’re looking to avoid any details related to Rogue One this is your SPOILER alert warning.*

……………

………….

……..

“I have been told that the black Stormtroopers in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will belong to an elite unit called Death Squad. It takes me back to the Kenner line of Star Wars action figures that had a “Death Squad Commander” before it was renamed “Star Destroyer Commander.” I’m not sure if the name is in tribute or merely a badass sounding coincidence.

In trooper news, I’ve heard another trooper mentioned called the “Pinnacle Trooper.” At this time I have no point of reference for the design. I do wonder/speculate if it will be the the long faced black Stormtrooper? In other points of clarification, the the Stormtrooper with the green lights by the microphone areas of the mask are the classic Death Trooper and not the long faced one we saw in the Donnie Yen released photo of the masks.

If this information pans out to pertain to screen used terms, we will have a Scarab Trooper, a Pinnacle Trooper, and a Death Squad consisting of black Stormtroopers in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Empire has never sounded more menacing.”

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2016.

Thoughts on the new details? Are you excited to see the new types of Stormtroopers in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?

Confirmed- Deadpool 2 Script Already Underway

EGP Website Article Image 1244

Ryan Reynolds, who leads the (already) successful Deadpool movie as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, has confirmed that a script for Deadpool 2 is already in development.

Reynolds is quoted as saying the following:

“We are on a script, we are well into a script.”

With Deadpool doing so well at the box office it’s no wonder Fox are eager to get to work on a sequel!

Reynolds also talked about some of the changes from the original script for Deadpool:

“We had endless [conversations about other X-Men]. Taskmaster was in the script originally, too expensive. We had versions where we wanted Hugh Jackman in there, we wanted all kinds of cameos from different people, but it just becomes a big mess for the studio. “We went through such hell developing the script and which X-Men we could keep and which we couldn’t and it just turned into a nightmare. The studio would just say, ‘too expensive, too expensive, too expensive’ to everyone. So finally we were like well, ‘what about Negasonic Teenage Warhead’ and they said, ‘Negasonic, what?'”

Thoughts on this news? Are you excited for the sequel to the Deadpool movie?
