Jeremy Irons is the latest actor to be tasked with bringing a new take to Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. Modern takes on Alfred have given the character a more hands-on role and Irons’ version will be no different.
Irons is quoted as saying the following on his take on Alfred:
“He’s a man who can actually do anything if he has to. His only remit in life is to protect [Bruce]. And, as those of us who have raised children, let alone Batmen, will know, that is quite a wide remit.”
Irons revealed that Wayne Manor is burnt out the new Bat Cave is under a ‘sleek lakeside residence’.

The legendary Stan Lee has always had quite an imagination, creating iconic characters like Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. However, his latest statement might be a bit too high on the imaginary scale.
Lee has stated that he believes a Star Wars and Avengers crossover could happen at some point.
Still with us? Lee is quoted as saying the following:
“Obviously the people who produce these [movies] are looking to be as successful as possible. If they feel that incorporating Star Wars with the Marvel characters will be very successful, they’ll find a way to do it. Can you imagine Spider-Man saying, “May the force be with you”? It may come to that! I created the Avengers by taking many of our characters and making a team out of them. We can have as many characters join the Avengers as we want to for future movies. That might be fun, all of a sudden Luke Skywalker is an Avenger!”
Disney owns the cinematic rights to the Star Wars and Marvel films so you never know if this could happen or not…
