Felix Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) has a massive task on his hands to make Fast & Furious 8 more successful than Furious 7. Furious 7 was one of the highest grossing films of all time, but the director is confident that he will bring a fresh direction to the next instalment.
Gary Gray is quoted as saying the following:
“I’m probably not at liberty to go too far into detail. All I have to say is I’m extremely excited about the direction we’re going in, and we’re really pushing to make sure the audience feels like it’s not more of the same. They feel like it’s fresh, they feel like the characters they’ve come to know and love are there, but this is gonna be different, and that’s probably the most I can give you right now.”
Fast & Furious 8 is scheduled for release on April 14th, 2017.

Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow) will be making the jump from Arrow to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. However, when he appears on Legends of Tomorrow he will be sporting a goatee and missing an arm.
The sixth episode will show the team travelling to 2046 to fight Vandal Savage, where Amell will guest star as a future Oliver Queen.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim is quoted as saying the following:
“Every once in a while, we do an episode where the 10 year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.”

EA have officially announced some of their planned updates and expansions for the new Star Wars: Battlefront video-game, which was released late last year.
Following complaints that the game didn’t have enough maps or content, EA are responding with new content- some which will be available for free and three expansion packs that will be made available during this year.
The free updates are as follows:
- The Tatooine Survival map will now support the Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and is called Raider Camp.
- New Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, both of which will be available to all fans when they play as these two iconic characters on the Hoth – these were unlocked by our players for completing our Heroes’ Holiday community mission last month.
- We are giving players the ability to create Private Matches, which makes playing with friends even easier.
- The introduction of Daily Challenges and Community Events. These are designed to rally the Community around certain goals and objectives, giving players the chance to earn credits and unlocks even faster. We’ll have more news regarding Community Events and Daily Challenges in the days ahead.
- And of course, we are also including some overall balancing tweaks to both weapons and multiplayer modes.
The expansion packs in the works are as follows:
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Outer Rim (March 2016) – Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Bespin (Summer 2016) – It’s hunt or be hunted in this action-packed experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Death Star (Fall 2016) – That’s no moon! One of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe makes its debut in Star Wars Battlefront.
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Expansion Pack 4 – Title TBA (Early 2017) – We will have more details to share about this exciting new expansion pack in the coming months.

John Boyega will be reprising his role of Finn for the Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens video-game, as announced by the actor himself.
While the previous Lego Star Wars video-games didn’t have the characters speaking (instead miming their actions which added to the humour of the game), recent Lego video-games like The Lord of the Rings and Jurassic World had voices included in the cutscenes and gameplay. We can expect that Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is following suit.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled for release on June 28th, 2016.

The use of the word “World’s” in the title could hint at more than one Earth being in play…
The episode will air on March 28th and is the eighteenth episode in the first season of Supergirl.
