Actor Xander Berkeley (24, Nikita, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Taken, The Spectacular Spider-Man) has been cast in a mystery role in the sixth season of The Walking Dead.
A description of Berkeley’s character reads as follows:
“I hear his character — whose name is being kept under wraps — does share some of the same characteristics as Negan. Namely his narcissism, huge ego and self-preservation. He’s also said to relish the superiority that comes with being in control, but he plays it off with a car salesman-type charm.”
We (like many others) speculate that his character will be Gregory from the comic series.
Regardless of which character (from the comics or an original character) Berkeley ends up playing, his contract reportedly states that he could be promoted to a main cast member in Season 7.

Even though a report in July seemingly confirmed that Pacific Rim 2 would begin shooting in November, a new report suggests that the sequel to the 2013 Pacific Rim has been halted indefinitely.
The halt in production is said to be a result of Legendary’s tense relationship with both Warner Bros. and Universal, the former having produced the original film.
Legendary’s and Universal’s relationship turned sour recently after the disappointing performances of both Blackhat and Seventh Son, leading to Universal having concerns over Legendary’s upcoming Warcraft and The Great Wall films. Legendary CEO Thomas Tull has also been a controversial figure in this souring relationship, having taken an unwarranted amount of credit for the success of Jurassic World (something he also did with the success of The Dark Knight), both films he (and Legendary) only helped to finance.
Thoughts on this report? Are you disappointed that production may have ceased on Pacific Rim 2?

Having been a companion to two Doctors (Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor and Peter Capaldi’s 12th Doctor) in the popular Doctor Who series, it looks like actress Jenna Coleman’s run as companion Clara Oswald will be coming to an end very soon.
Series 9 (which began airing on September 19th) is said to be her last series. She is said to have already filmed her final scenes, and is leaving the show as she is said to have landed a lead role in ITV’s upcoming Queen Victoria drama.
Considering how she was rumoured to be leaving in Series 8 and her long run as a companion (since halfway through Series 7), it perhaps wouldn’t be a big surprise to see her run end this series.
Thoughts on this rumour? Will you be disappointed to see the last of Clara Oswald in Doctor Who?

2016 is going to be a big year for Fox, with three highly-anticipated superhero films all coming from them next year- Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and Gambit. However, not only will they be connected by company but the films will interact with each other as well.
This means that potential crossovers between the films are possible.
Producer Simon Kinberg had the following to say:
“The idea is that we’ve sort of reset the timeline after Days of Future Past in some ways, and if not erased, certainly allowed for change from X1, ’2, 3, everything from Days of Future Past forward, 1973, everything we set now becomes canon. So the Gambit movie, the Deadpool movie, will exist in a world that acknowledges whatever happened in Days of Future Pastand moving forward. Doesn’t mean they’ll always interact with those characters, obviously, it’s not like every movie has all the characters, but they all have to exist within the same rules. There will be interplay between different characters in different movies.”
Thoughts on this report? Which of the three films are you most looking forward to?
