A new deleted scene from this year’s blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron has been released, featuring Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.
The scene shows Thor being possessed by the Norn, before having a vision of the infinity gauntlet.
Joss Whedon had actually talked about the scene before to the Empire Podcast in May, and in the interview he had said the following on the scene:
“The original scene was that Thor went to speak to the Norn and how it would work was that he’d go in the pool and the Norn possess him, basically, and Erik Selvig asks all the questions, and the Norn, speaking through Thor, give the answers. So Chris got to do something different, and he really threw himself into it, and he did a beautiful job, but it wasn’t well regarded by the test audiences and I feel it’s probably largely because it was a rough cut with no effects, but also because it’s something that in a Thor movie would work brilliantly, but in this movie is just a little too left of centre.”

Has it really been several weeks since Force Friday on the 4th of this month? It doesn’t feel like it as since that day we’ve had new Star Wars collectible reveals every week (so it feels like), and this week is no exception.
The latest Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens 6-inch figure to be revealed is a Resistance Trooper. A figure of this very trooper has already been made in the 3.75-inch line.
No details on the wave this figure will be part of have been released.

The title of the sequel to the 2012 Prometheus film has been revealed as Alien: Paradise Lost.
We’ve seen lots of Prometheus news this week, but the title reveal is by far the biggest news. Prometheus filmmaker Ridley Scott revealed the title himself, clearly feeling the sequel would benefit from having the Alien name as part of its title. This makes sense as even though long-time Alien fans would know Prometheus is part of the franchise, an average movie goer might not so that could be the reason for the title.
Alien: Paradise Lost begins production in February 2016.
Thoughts on the title? Are you looking forward to Alien: Paradise Lost?

A new report from The Hollywood Report (which included interviews with producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald) has indicated that a new Men in Black trilogy is in development.
The following exchange took place in the interview:
THR: You produced Men in Black. Has there been talk of reviving that franchise with the new Sony regime?
Parkes: We’re in the middle of it. It’s very active.
THR: Is Will Smith going to be part of it?
Parkes: Most likely no.
MacDonald: It will be reinvented as a trilogy.
As stated, Will Smith (James Edwards) likely won’t be involved so the new trilogy will likely be very different to the trilogy we’ve already seen.
Rumours have indicated for a while that a Men in Black/Jump Street crossover is being considered, so it’s possible that the Men in Black series will be reinvented in an even bigger way than Parkes and MacDonald stated.
Thoughts on this report? Are you looking forward to another Men in Black trilogy?
