Recent reports indicated that AMC was planning a The Walking Dead special featuring Walkers on a plane, and now AMC has officially announced the web-series (which will tie-in with Fear The Walking Dead) which will be titled Flight 462.
A description of the web-series is below:
“Flight 462” will be the title of the 16-part in-flight zombie drama. The series will begin October 4, the night of Fear The Walking Dead’s finale, and air as promos with each subsequent episode of The Walking Dead, which begins its sixth season the following week. Each episode will be less than a minute long.
Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak. Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveller. The series is written by L. Signorino and Mike Zunic and directed by “Fear” director of photography Michael McDonough.
If you recall, in the third episode of Fear The Walking Dead (“The Dog”), Nick Clark noticed a plane flying overhead which has led many fans to speculate that it could be the plane featured in this special.
Also, as hinted in the previous report one character from the web-series will become part of Fear The Walking Dead’s cast in its second season.

Ahead of the third season premier of their Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D series, Marvel Television and ABC have released a first look at the new bus.
In the previous season, the Bus was destroyed- but now S.H.I.E.L.D has a newer and fancier aerial craft called the Zephyr One.
Compared to other vessels in the Marvel Universe, the new ship looks like a mix of a Helicarrier and Quinjet.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D returns for its third season on September 29th.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens sees the return of many Star Wars legends reprising their roles- including Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and ranging to Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker. Now another cast member has confirmed that he will be returning.
Tim Rose may have played three roles (Admiral Ackbar, Salacious Crumb and Sy Snootles) in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but it was his role of Admiral Ackbar that people ended up knowing him best for and the character became a fan-favourite. Rose had the following to say on returning to the role:
“I’d like to think I gave Ackbar something special which you can tell. I think you can. I can tell when I see my friends who do specialised and full body suit work no matter what character they go into; I can tell you exactly who it is because I know their movements so well.”
Naturally with Star Wars being such a popular series there was a lot of secrecy surrounding The Force Awakens, and Rose had the following to say on the secrecy:
“I’m very frustrated by that. Out of the need to be secret, we’re not actually able to get everything we need to do our jobs as well as we could… And as someone who has been doing it for 35 years, I find it very frustrating.”
Finally, Rose said the following on the first film that will bring Star Wars back to the big screen:
“What I can say about the new movie is that if you were a fan of the original three, you’re going to absolutely love this one to bits… You can expect a smorgasbord of people you love.”
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens opens on December 17th in the UK, but on the 18th in the US.
Thoughts on this news? Are you looking forward to seeing Ackbar return in The Force Awakens?

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ release date of December 18th is getting ever closer now that we’re heading towards the end of September. While it has been confirmed that the third trailer for the film will also be the final trailer, no timeframe for when the final trailer has been hinted at. Until now…
A new rumour suggests that the final trailer will be released on October 16th. The rumour reads:
“When a studio releases a teaser trailer, like the one that came out in April, they give the trailer to theaters along with a poster to display. That’s when the teaser one-sheet hit theaters. While some don’t consider it to be a real poster, the logo-only one-sheet was the first teaser poster for The Force Awakens.
If these theaters are receiving promotional items such as posters, or even bigger things like a standee, around the 16th of October that means they also likely will have a trailer to show as well.”
The rumour also suggests that trailer could appear online on Thursday October 15th, which is plausible as Lucasfilm make most of their big announcements on Thursday’s.
Recent rumours have also suggested that tickets will go on sale on October 19th, so that makes it even more likely for a trailer to be released around then.
Thoughts on this rumour? What are you hoping to see the final The Force Awakens trailer?

Daisy Ridley may have been an unknown English actress when she was revealed as part of the cast list for Star Wars Episode VII (before it had the title of The Force Awakens), but now fans are really excited to see her character Rey in the film.
While the film is still not due for a few months, new minor details on Rey are rumoured to have been released. While the details are minor, if you’re determined not to know anything about her character this is your SPOILER alert warning. The details include:
…………………………………..
………………….
- “Rey” is a pseudonym used by the hero in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
- “Rey” was dropped off on Jakku by her parents.
- “Rey” doesn’t leave Jakku because she’s waiting for her parents to return. Should she leave, they may never find her.
- Her life on Jakku, living inside an AT-AT-turned-home makes Luke’s life on Tatooine look suburban and luxurious.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will officially be released on December 18th.

The Alien franchise has been in the news a lot recently, in particular its prequel Prometheus, released in 2012. Its director Ridley Scott has also been in the news a lot recently and he has revealed numerous interesting details on the future of Prometheus (including that it will have three sequels).
However, Scott hadn’t actually confirmed whether he would be directing all three sequels… until now. That’s right, Scott is changing it up from Alien where he only directed the first of the series.
Also, Alien: Paradise Lost (the first of the sequels) will begin shooting in March, not February as previously hinted at.
Thoughts on this news? Are you looking forward to all of the Prometheus sequels?

Fast & Furious 7 may have been a major success this year, but the cast and crew of the series are already looking ahead to the eighth instalment. Now, reports are indicating that the eighth film will begin a trilogy that will lead to the end of the series.
The news comes from actor Vin Diesel, who has appeared in the films as Dominic Toretto since the first film in the franchise. Vin Diesel said the following on his Facebook page in regard to this:
“Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision… they have been like family… I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga.”
His full post is quoted below:
“The fans of the Fast & Furious SAGA are the best fans in the world… Since I became the Producer in 2008, you have been with me every step of the way… literally giving me feedback that proved invaluable. Thank you.
My producing partner Neal would love for me to just sign off on a director, but this is too special a franchise, so these matters have to be very carefully handled. To be clear, NO ONE has been offered to helm Fast 8 yet… let alone seen a script.
Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision… they have been like family… I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga.
I will announce the directors on my next post…”
This means the series will end with Fast & Furious 10.
Fast 8 will be released on April 14th, 2017.
Thoughts on this report? Are you disappointed that the Fast & Furious series could be ended after three more films?
