Everyone’s favourite green giant has had a tough time recently. Not only did he disappear in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but recent reports have revealed that he won’t play any part in Captain America: Civil War or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (despite being in the former’s initial script and once being rumoured to appear in the latter’s original film).
However, a new rumour indicates an upcoming Marvel film that The Incredible Hulk may appear in.
The rumour suggests that Thor and The Incredible Hulk will team-up to take on Ragnarok in Thor: Ragnarok, and the giant would indeed feature heavily in the third Thor film.
Thoughts on this rumour? Would you like to see The Incredible Hulk appear in Thor: Ragnarok?
Mike Colter, who will make his debut as Luke Cage in Jessica Jones before leading his own series, recently spoke to Comicbook.com about playing the character, including details on Jessica Jones and his lead series.
Firstly, Colter talked about how the Luke Cage series will lead on from Jessica Jones:
“I can tell you what they’ve allowed me to, which is basically, Luke Cage will take place a few months after Jessica Jones. So in real time, if you watch Jessica Jones, you’ll find [at the end] Luke Cage uptown in Harlem, working, trying to make ends meet. Luke Cage really hasn’t figured out what he’s doing. He’s tending bar, he’s bouncing around. And for good reason, he’s a fugitive, he has some skeletons in his closet.”
He continued:
“He’s trying to basically stay off the radar. The people he hangs around with, though, are in need. Ultimately, he’d rather be alone, but with the way he’s equipped he does step up. That’s what it’s about, it’s about finding that inner feeling to make you want to take action. Sometimes we just sit around, and sit on our hands and don’t do anything because it’s like ‘hey, that’s not my problem.’ You can’t do that when you’re a superhero. You have these gifts, now use them.”
Colter also described Harlem as being in a completely different world from Hell’s Kitchen.

Paul Reubens, alternatively known as Pee-Wee Herman, is confirmed to be playing The Penguin’s father in Gotham.
The announcement was made by Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot) at New York Comic Con’s Warner Bros. Television panel, where he is quoted as saying the following:
“We just found out that I do have a father and he will be showing up very soon… and he will be played by none other than PAUL REUBENS! AKA PEE-WEE HERMAN, IS PLAYING MY DAD! What the hell! Oh my god!”
Fun fact: This is not the first time Reubens is playing The Penguin’s father, having previously played the part in Batman Returns (released in 1992).
We’ve already seen The Penguin’s mother throughout the first season of the show, so we’ll have to wait and see what his father will be like.

Geek fans were very excited when Marvel announced that actress Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix trilogy) had been cast in Marvel’s upcoming Jessica Jones series, but for months (her casting was revealed back in February) details were very closely held back until now.
New York Comic Con saw Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel Television, spill the beans on Moss’ role. The actress will be playing male character Jeryn Hogarth, who in the comics is an ally of Iron Fist (who is getting his own Netflix series). Another character from the comics that is gender-swapped when being brought to a screen.

Benicio del Toro may be preparing to take on a role in Star Wars Episode VIII, but a new confirmation has revealed that he will be making a return to familiar ground as well soon.
Though Benicio stated in June that he wasn’t sure if he would be returning, Zoe Saldana (who starred as Gamora in the film released last year) has confirmed it herself, though not in the usual way. A video she posted on her husband’s Facebook page features her complimenting Benicio on Sicario (his latest film), and ending the video saying (in Spanish): “I’ll see you on Guardians”.
Benicio had previously stated that he wanted to develop Taneleer Tivan/The Collector more, so this is just as good news for him as it is for us.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on May 5th, 2017.

Mark Hamill has had an illustrious career (both on and off screen), but a role that may have slipped the minds of some fans was that he played the Trickster in the original The Flash series. Therefore, it was a nice surprise when Hamill reprised the villainous role during the first season of The CW’s on-going series.
Rumours had been flying around recently that Hamill would be returning as the character again for the second season, and now those rumours have been confirmed. No details on the episode or whereabouts he will appear in the second season are known, but he will be returning.
