Recent rumours indicated that the Wonder Woman movie, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), would be set in the present day and during World War I. Now, it is being said that a third time period will be included in the movie, a time period that is further back in time than the two.
“We’ve now learned from a well-placed source (who will remain anonymous) that Wonder Woman will, in fact, take place in three distinct time periods,” Den of Geek reports. “It’s even possible, we’re told, that the story will move through a different time period for each act.”
According to Den of Geek, the movie might begin on the island of Themyscira – the home of Princess Diana aka Wonder Woman.
After this, the film would go to 1916 and the middle of World War I. Eventually the movie will transition to present day and that is where it will tie into the event of Justice League Part One.
Den of Geek also add: “We’re also hearing that, to go with the three separate time periods, there’s the possibility that Wonder Woman’s outfit will change to reflect each setting.”
The movie is scheduled to begin filiming this November so we might get confirmation on this rumor very soon.
The solo movie about Wonder Woman is set to be released on June 23rd, 2017.

Sources from Den of Geek have teased how the fastest man alive could look in the DC Cinematic Universe when Ezra Miller plays him on the big screen:
“Understandably, they’re seeking to avoid “any comparison to the well designed and received TV version,” we’re told. To ring the changes, they’re aiming to create a more “tech-based” suit that will look quite different from the burgundy leather outfit designed by Colleen Atwood for the series. Instead, this one will look more “like armor.”
Some fans have connected the idea of an armoured Flash to the game “Injustice: Gods Among Us“. The game did feature several different outfits for the speedster, meaning there are multiple choices to choose from for the movie look.
Thoughts on this rumour? What kind of suit would you like to see the Flash wear?

Recently it was rumoured that an X-Men TV show was in the works, and now the news has been made official (with a twist). Not one, but two X-Men themed shows have been announced!
Marvel officially announced both shows, titled Legion and Hellfire respectively. Details on both are below:
Legion- Based on Professor X’s son David Haller.
Hellfire- Based on the villainous group known as The Hellfire Club.
A description of Legion’s pilot reads as follows:
“The pilot introduces the story of David Haller: Since he was a teenager, David has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.”
A number of the crew members have also been revealed- Noah Hawley (Fargo, Bones) serves as Executive Producer, along with Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Wolverine), Bryan Singer (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Superman Returns), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Martain), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel’s Daredevil), Jim Chory (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel’s Daredevil) and John Cameron (Fargo, The Big Lebowski).
Nick Grad, Co-President Original Programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, had the following to say:
“Legion is just the sort of ambitious story that Noah excels at. His adaption of Fargo for television was one of the most acclaimed television events in recent memory. It’s also an honor to partner with Marvel on Legion and to enlist such an accomplished team of Executive Producers to create this pilot.”
Fox’s Hellfire series takes place in the 1960’s (same era as the 2011 film X-Men: First Class), so fans can look forward to a modern-day show and a series set in the past.
A synopsis for the series reads as follows:
“Set in the late 1960s, the series — which will be produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television, with 20th Century Fox handling the physical production — follows a young Special Agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is working with a clandestine society of millionaires – known as “The Hellfire Club” – to take over the world.”
David Madden, Fox Broadcasting Companies President, is quoted as saying the following:
“We are thrilled to partner with Marvel to bring this world to television and build upon the vibrant mythology that has captivated fans for years. These powerful and dynamic characters are complicated and larger-than-life, the pace and visual imagination are unrelenting, and the story takes place during one of the most explosive eras in recent history. We are so looking forward to working with this incredibly talented team.”
