New Dragons Race to the Edge Episode Titles Revealed

EGP Website Article Image 153

After the successful release of the first thirteen episode on Netflix, How To Train Your Dragons fans have wondered when the details on the next batch of episodes (expected in December) would be revealed. Thanks to Netflix, the titles of the next batch, episodes 14-26, have been released.

The episode titles are as follows:

  Team Astrid

  Night of the Hunters, Part 1

  Night of the Hunters, Part 2

  Bad Moon Rising

  Snotlout Gets the Axe

  The Zippleback Experience

  Snow Way Out

  Edge of Disaster, Part 1

  Edge of Disaster, Part 2

  Shock and Awe

  A Time to Skrill

  Maces and Talons, Part 1

  Maces and Talons, Part 2

No specific details on any of the episodes have been revealed, but I do have some theories on what some of these episodes may include:

  1. Team Astrid is either an Astrid-centric episode or the Astrid/Tuffnut episode that was confirmed by showrunners Art E. Brown and Douglas Sloan.
  2. Night of the Hunters could introduce new villains.
  3. The Zippleback Experience is either another Tuffnut/Ruffnut episode or features other Dragon riders trying to use Barf and Belch.
  4. The Edge of Disaster two-parter could feature an attack by Dagur the Deranged on the Dragon’s Edge.
  5. A Time to Skrill will see the return of the Skrill dragon.

A low quality image is included below which shows the new episode titles on Netflix:

Star Wars- Benicio del Toro Seemingly Confirms Role in Episode VIII

EGP Website Article Image 151

Rumours have been swirling around online in recent weeks that actor Benicio del Toro (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, The Wolfsman, Traffic) will be appearing in Star Wars Episode VIII, though an official casting announcement has yet to be made by Disney or Lucasfilm. Now, del Toro has added fuel to the fire by talking a little bit about the rumours. Benicio reportedly had the following conversation with a Spanish program:

Interviewer: And are you going to shoot something after that?

Benicio Del Toro: No, just… *pause* Star Wars is coming up, we will see how that turns out. I think we start shooting in March.

Interviewer: And what’s your role in this new Star Wars chapter?

Benicio: Ehhh…. the thing is…. They don’t let me talk too much about it, I’m like the villain.

Interviewer: Oh wow!

Benicio: But…. we’ll see…*laughs*

So not only does Benicio essentially confirm that he will indeed be in Star Wars Episode VIII, but that he will be playing the villain and shooting begins in March 2016. This makes sense as Star Wars Episode VIII is scheduled for release on May 26th, 2017.

Thoughts on what Benicio said? Are you excited to see him as a villain in Star Wars Episode VIII?

Star Wars- The Force Awakens to be Released in the UK on December 17th

EGP Website Article Image 150

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the day Star Wars returns to the big screen with Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, but now we know that if you’re in the UK (like several of our staff members are) you’ll get to see The Force Awakens a day earlier than its advertised release date in most countries, meaning in the UK it will be released on December 17th.

The reveal came from the Star Wars UK Facebook page. This new date means The Force Awakens will be released in just 100 days for anyone who lives in the UK.

Even though December 18th has been the advertised release date for a long time, it’s not unusual for other countries to have different release date. France, for example, release The Force Awakens on December 16th. My guess is that the UK is getting it early because of all the filming that took place at Pinewood Studios.

Thoughts on this news? Are our UK fans excited to see The Force Awakens a day early?

James Bond- Another New Spectre Poster Released

EGP Website Article Image 149

EON Productions have released another poster for this year’s James Bond film Spectre.

The poster is similar to the previous poster that was released, except as well as Daniel Craig (the title character) and a skull figure in the background it features Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann). Is this is a hint that Madeleine Swann is definitely the main Bond girl in Spectre?

Thoughts on the new poster? What are you most looking forward to in Spectre?

Confirmed- Sam Smith Reveals He’s Singing the Spectre Title Song

EGP Website Article Image 144EGP Website Article Image 61

Every James Bond film features a new title song and this year’s film Spectre will be no different. Now we know who will be singing the title song and it’s British singer Sam Smith.

Popular songs of Smith’s include “Like I Can” and “Lay Me Down”.

The previous Bond film Skyfall saw Adele’s theme song win an academy award for Best Original Song, meaning that Smith’s work for Spectre will be hard-pressed to top Adele’s work for Skyfall.

Spectre will be released on October 26th in the UK, with its US release being on November 6th.

Thoughts on this news? Are you excited to hear Sam Smith’s title song for Spectre?

Confirmed- James Gunn Completes Second Draft of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

James Gunn could still be revelling in the success of Guardians of the Galaxy last year, but instead he’s not resting on his laurels as he’s working hard on the sequel- as evidenced by his announcement that he has completed the second draft for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

James confirmed it personally in a Facebook post which is linked further down this article.

James also stated to a fan that the process for his films usually requires two main drafts (with small bits of editing until shooting begins) so this means the drafts themselves have been completed.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released on May 5th, 2017, with shooting reportedly beginning in February 2016.

Thoughts on this news? What are you looking forward to in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?

Report- Deadpool Movie Features a Junkyard Scene

EGP Website Article Image 142

Next year’s Deadpool movie is one of the most anticipated films of 2016, and now we have something else to look forward to in the film- a junkyard scene.

Production designer Sean Haworth said the following to The Hollywood Reporter:

“We needed a junkyard, so we turned a giant yard where they scrap aircraft and surplus military equipment into a military salvage yard. We brought in tons of extra material — heaps of old containers, planes, parts of helicopters and chewed-up trains. At first glance, Vancouver is a very modern, model-like city, so it’s easy to be worried you won’t find the falling-apart look. But we also found amazingly gritty old factories and alleyways and bars and docks.”

There are obviously other reasons the crew of Deadpool chose to shoot in Canada (the generous tax incentives, the labour and locales) but this is a very interesting reason as well as it refers to a particular scene.

A video we’ve linked below gives you a look at the junkyard set:

Junkyard Glimpse

The Deadpool movie is officially released February 12th, 2016.
