Hey there Marc, as an aspiring voice actor I’ve been a massive fan of your voice work and consider you as one of my favourite VA’s in the NY talent pool. I have three questions for you:

1: Which roles do you consider your favourite?

2: Do you feel that working with different voice directors and studios is different?

3: What aspiring advice do you have for fellow VA’s?

Out of the “Main” YGO characters you’ve voiced (Duke, Chazz, Astral etc.) who would you say was the most fun to voice and why?

Firstly, great first name and spelt correctly with an C. (Fellow Marc)

    1) What was the most challenging Yu-Gi-Oh! card which you had to pronounce during any of the series?

    2) I see on your Instagram page you like to cosplay when going to the theatre for a Marvel and Star Wars film. If you could cosplay two of your characters one from Yu-Gi-Oh! and one from Pokemon who would you pick?

Hey Marc! I hope you’re having a wonderful day!
I’ve been a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan since the original series came out and you’ve become one of my all time favorite voice actors. My favorite series is ZEXAL & it helped me gain many friendships and get through a rough patch in my life.

    I have some questions,

    1) Yuma and Astral are duo protagonists like Yugi & Atem from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! They’ve been through a lot of emotional battles fighting aliens and recovering Astral’s memories. What was one of YOUR most cherished memories working on Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL? Do you have a favorite episode or Astral moment & how did you create the voice for this unique character?

    2) Astral got to duel his favorite TV superhero “The Sparrow” along with Yuma, what do you think would happen if Astral could have a chance to co-star with The Sparrow on his TV show? Do you think Astral would choose to play a hero or a villain on the show?

Thank you so much for voicing one of my favorite characters of all time! 🙂

Hi Marc! I’ve been a fan of yours for quite a while already, so thank you for all the hard work on your shows!

I have a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind:

    1) What’s the story behind you replacing Anthony Salerno as Chazz on GX? Is Chazz’s voice very hard to do considering how throaty it sounds?

    2) How was it like working on Viva Piñata playing Franklin Fizzybear?

Hey, Marc Thompson! It’s great that you’re a guest on the podcast. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Anyway, I was wondering if you could answer this question: which character did you have the most fun playing and why?
