Filming on the two-hour pilot of Legends of Tomorrow was recently confirmed to have begun, and now The CW have given us our first official look at Hawkman and Hawkgirl as we will see them in the series.

However, before they became regular characters on Legends of Tomorrow both will be appearing in the next Arrow/The Flash crossover (though Hawkgirl already appeared as a cameo in The Flash Season 1 finale).

The picture seems to be set on the same rooftop seen in the Legends of Tomorrow teaser (featuring the team, The Flash, Arrow and Rip Hunter).

Rumour- Star Wars The Force Awakens to Feature Post Credits Tease for Rogue One

EGP Website Article Image 199EGP Website Article Image 200

The eyes of Star Wars fans may be on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens this year, but let’s not forget that we have more Star Wars films to look forward to over the next several years, starting with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story next year.

As a new rumour suggests (though a similar rumour was released earlier in the year), Lucasfilm and Disney may be looking to connect the films in some form. The rumour suggests that The Force Awakens could feature a form of post-credits tease for Rogue One next year (though no clue on whether it could a scene, a trailer etc.).

Post-credits scenes have become more prominent ever since Marvel Studios started using them in their films, but of course we don’t know what kind of tease is rumoured here.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released on December 16th, 2016. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens precedes it with a December 18th release this year.

Thoughts on this rumour? Would you like The Force Awakens to have a post-credits tease for Rogue One?

Star Wars- EA Officially Reveals “Drop Zone” Mode for Battlefront

EGP Website Article Image 197

The release date of the next Star Wars Battlefront video game looms closer now that we’re in mid-September (with the game scheduled for release on November 17th), and now EA have revealed a new mode for the game: “Drop Zone”.

Several new modes that will be included in Battlefront have been revealed recently with this being the latest.

EA have described this game mode with the following:

“Drop Zone” is described as a King of the hill-style “action-filled, tactical mode” that involves several drop pods falling on to the map. The match pits eight Imperial players against eight Rebel players who must fight for control of these pods. Players must locate and capture five of the pods, or a majority of them once the ten minute match ends. If one pod becomes highly contested, changing teams multiple times, another pod will be sent down, forcing each team to capture both pods, thus ending the stand off.

Once a pod is captured, it will provide power ups to players. Other tools will also be at your disposal, such turrets and Viper Droids (which point out the source of enemies), which can be dropped on the fly. Drop Zone will be available to play on planets such as Hoth, Sullust, Tatooine and Endor.”

Lead level designer Dennis Brännvall also described a part of the mode in the Endor map:

“Playing Drop Zone on the Swamp Crash Site on Endor is a personal favourite. The map has a couple of nice choke points but is overall very free-flowing and hectic, as enemies can attack from anywhere on that level. The fight takes place around a crashed GR-75 transport ship with containers from the craft strewn across the landscape, and there’s one section with a waterfall overlooked by a Ewok village, where you have to jump down into the pool below in order to claim the pod, hoping no one’s hiding in the trees above waiting to pick you off.”

Thoughts on this mode? Are you looking forward to playing it in Battlefront?
