The Motion Picture Association of America have officially given the upcoming DC Comics movie Suicide Squad a PG-13 rating.
The rating was given due to sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behaviour, suggestive content and language.
The success of the R-rated Deadpool movie earlier this earlier led to speculation that the Suicide Squad movie could be given the same rating. Filmmakers and producers stated that there was no chance of that happening. However, director David Ayer has stated that he’s open to R-rated sequels.
“It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”
The Suicide Squad movie is scheduled for release on August 5th, 2016.

A new piece of key artwork and details for the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC have been revealed. The key art can be seen at the top of this article and it shows several areas of Cloud City, as well as the Millennium Falcon, an X-Wing, Twin-Pod Cloud Cars, Slave I and TIE Fighters in action.
A statement on the EA website says:
“Join legendary smuggler Lando Calrissian and cold-blooded bounty hunter Dengar in the Cloud City of Bespin. Take to the skies in the new cloud car vehicle and journey through Cloud City and the Administrator’s Palace. The Bespin digital expansion will feature two new blasters to add to your arsenal. No matter your preference of short or long range combat, there will be something new to try out in Cloud City. Hunt enemies within the Bioniip Laboratories or carbon-freezing chambers with the new X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4 blasters.
Lando and Dengar both feature new traits that will give them unique gameplay abilities. Dengar is a villain that thrives on being in a fight. He wields the DLT-19, which makes him the first Hero with a heavy blaster so far. Lando is very skilled with a blaster too, but his greatest talent comes from knowing the odds and using tricks against his enemies.”
The Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin expansion pack will be available to all gamers on July 5th. However, it will also be available two weeks early to season pass holders on June 21st.
Thoughts on the new key artwork and details? Are you looking forward to the Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin expansion pack?
