“Join hosts Ruari and Máirín in this guest interview with actor Jon Davey, best-known for playing various monsters/aliens and background characters in over 25 episodes of Doctor Who including the Headless Cyberman in “The Pandorica Opens”, Cyber-Leader in “A Good Man Goes To War”, Doctor’s Team Goalkeeper (David) in “The Lodger”, Unit Soldier in “The Day of the Doctor”, Droid in “Deep Breath” and other creatures including Daleks, Ood, Jadoon, Hath, Heavenly Host, Mire, Vigil and Whispermen. In the interview they talk about how Jon decided he wanted to become an actor, how Jon originally got involved with Doctor Who, Jon’s favourite of the roles he has played in Doctor Who, some of Jon’s favourite Doctor Who episodes to have worked on, the most difficult costumes that Jon has worn for Doctor Who, Jon’s favourite and least favourite costume he has worn on Doctor Who, Jon’s upcoming acting roles and other projects, the process behind Jon playing the Headless Cyberman in “The Pandorica Opens”, whether Jon finds it more difficult to act on screen or on stage and the person Jon would most like to work with in the industry.”
