Many rumours have been surrounding The Incredible Hulk since Avengers: Age of Ultron was released, and lots of hints and teases led people to believe that the character would be appearing in next year’s superhero fest Captain America: Civil War.

However, actor Mark Ruffalo (who brings The Incredible Hulk and his human counterpart Bruce Banner to life) has confirmed that the character was removed from the Civil War script.

Ruffalo is quoted as saying the following:

“The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where he is and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.”

Thoughts on this report? Are you disappointed that The Incredible Hulk won’t be appearing in Captain America: Civil War and when do you think we will next see him?
